BackOps is backed by leading VCs and we are on a mission to become the central nervous system of supply chain operations. Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive pipeline growth and fuel our go-to-market engine. The SDR will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, and booking meetings for the sales team. This role is ideal for someone excited about AI, SaaS, and logistics who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities
Research and identify target accounts within our ideal customer profile. Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate new business opportunities. Qualify inbound leads and engage prospects to understand their pain points and potential fit. Book qualified discovery calls and demos for Account Executives and leadership. Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and prospect information in CRM. Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and account strategies. Provide feedback from the market to help shape product positioning and GTM strategy. Qualifications
12 years of sales development, business development, or related experience (SaaS or logistics/tech preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and build relationships. Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection; motivated by goals and metrics. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms. Curiosity about AI, automation, and logistics technology. Highly organized, coachable, and eager to learn in a fast-growing startup. What We Offer
