This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the Digital Assets Operational Strategy for FTSE Russell globally. This role works across the organization to create a cohesive Digital Asset Operational Strategy, collaborating with Policy, Technology, Regulatory, Risk, Legal, Commercial, Product and Research teams to set strategic goals and coordinate implementation. Responsibilities include leading and implementing the vetting methodology and data collection strategy to ensure a single coordinated voice on digital asset data and index build and prioritization aligned to the return on investment strategy. The role also ensures FTSE Russell alignment with LSEG digital asset initiatives and supports Sales Teams’ engagement with clients as a subject matter authority on Digital Assets. This position will also handle Digital Assets data requirements, including identifying data needs, finding solutions, and managing vendors and partners, working closely with the Product Manager responsible for the product roadmap. It includes developing and implementing a long-term strategic plan for managing operational risk/opportunity of integrating digital asset technology in FTSE Russell’s business. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter authority for Digital Assets for FTSE Russell both internally and externally. Provide authority on digital asset market data derived from Exchanges, GitHub and On-Chain data opportunities. Understand market movement in Digital Assets and position FTSE Russell to participate in new market opportunities. Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and automation, ensuring accuracy, relevance and regulatory alignment. Be the authority on digital asset technology and its impact on FTSE Russell’s day-to-day business. Identify new trends and opportunities to help set product roadmaps. Facilitate execution of strategic goals across teams and identify/mitigate key risks in the emerging Digital Asset space. Collaborate with Policy, Technology, Legal, Risk and Compliance to monitor regulatory changes for digital assets. Own the FTSE Digital Asset Index operational strategy and execution. Participate in the Digital Asset Operational Forum, Digital Asset Technical Forum, and Digital Asset External Advisory Committee. Maximize data vendor relationships to expand commercial opportunities in this growing market segment. Act as a senior conduit for client and industry trends, market challenges, product development and client needs. Lead discussions with ecosystem authorities and prospective clients, serving as an internal and external guide. Collaborate with product, research, partnerships, derivatives, governance, policy, sales strategy, operations, marketing and other teams to solution and win deals. Support the Product Management team to facilitate the product lineup and Digital Asset strategy. Coordinate with public relations and marketing to build the FTSE Russell brand in this asset class. Mentor colleagues across the organization. Propose solutions and strategies to maximize LSEG verticals to build new Digital Asset solutions for clients. Travel: 10%-33% Key Qualifications

A minimum of 10 years serving institutional clients across multiple functions, with at least 7 years in the Digital Asset space. Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including research, product, quant, legal, compliance and development roles. Established relationships in the Digital Asset space. Proven track record of building scalable products from scratch. Experience establishing and cultivating high-profile client relationships through consultative solutions. Ability to articulate clients’ needs and present sophisticated ideas concisely. Attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. High energy, self-starter mindset with curiosity and problem-solving skills in Digital Assets. Experience with index, analytics or asset management; index product management/development experience. Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a rapidly changing environment. Ability to lead technically complex projects with attention to detail while maintaining big-picture risk assessment. Collaborative team player in a matrix organization. Excellent presentation abilities. Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base salary for this position is $162,000 - $270,200. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. This role is eligible for the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/bonus).
