Overview
General Manager based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to lead a fast-growing youth fitness and development center. This role is ideal for someone who is competitive in sales, experienced in leadership, and energized by creating a positive impact on kids and families while driving strong business results. What You’ll Do
Oversee daily center operations, ensuring culture, safety, and an exceptional experience for families and team members. Drive membership growth through high-volume outreach (50+ calls/day typical), trial conversions, and community engagement. Manage financial performance, including P&L oversight, KPIs, and profitability. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing coaching team. Build meaningful relationships with families and serve as the welcoming face of the center. Support and occasionally coach classes, bringing energy and passion to each session. Qualifications
2-4 years of proven sales experience, with success meeting and exceeding goals. Passion for working with children - non-negotiable. Previous management or leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident engaging with parents and team members. Comfortable in a physically active environment (moving equipment, assisting kids with safe technique, on your feet much of the day). Familiarity with Google Workspace; experience with GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, or Gusto a plus. CPR certified (or willingness to obtain). Bonus: background in pediatric OT/PT, fitness, or wellness. Why This Role?
