Responsibilities
Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated vulnerability remediation at Capital One. Lead the product roadmap for the Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) platform, transforming it from a program to a mature, scalable product. Partner closely with senior leaders in Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to ensure the platform meets the complex security and operational needs of a large enterprise. Deeply understand the pain points of internal software development teams and translate insights into solutions that make the secure path the easiest path. Define, monitor, and evangelize key performance indicators, measuring the reduction of toil, decreased time-to-remediate, and the impact on developer productivity and satisfaction. Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and stakeholder engagement to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement. Serve as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert on the product, effectively communicating its value proposition and progress to stakeholders at all levels. Capital One Product Framework

At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading product management for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large-scale enterprise platforms. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in application security, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security. Experience translating complex business strategy and technical challenges into a clear, data-driven product roadmap. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and risk management. Excellent communication skills with a track record of engaging and influencing senior executives. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation.
