Overview

Project Director-EPC Projects at GE Vernova. The Project Director will be responsible for management of Renewable Energy Hydro Projects, driving project execution to maximize cash and margin, and delivering projects on time, in conformity with contract, while managing customer expectations. Project Execution Strategy: Based on contract, develop and implement the overall strategy for project execution to achieve performance goals. Communication: represent GE to the customer; manage interfaces and relationships; oversee internal and external communications. Project Organization: secure resources for project execution; organize the project team with clearly identified roles and interfaces; empower team members within their scope. Performance Management: monitor KPIs; take necessary actions to guarantee financial, time, quality, and safety performance to maximize project goals. Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management: establish, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Plan, Procedures, and EHS Plan; ensure compliance at lowest final cost. Claim Management: define strategy for claims and lead actions accordingly. Risk and Opportunities: define Risk Management Plan; continuously update risk and opportunities; implement actions to improve overall project performance. Project Process: manage project from hand-over from Sales to final completion or hand-over to Service; provide feedback to Sales and other functions on performance. People Management: lead and coach the project team; define goals, evaluate performance, and develop plans for team members. Project Planning: develop and monitor Master Time Schedule; manage project float to ensure timely completion. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Minimum of 5 years of relevant power generation industrial experience Minimum of 5 years of Project Director experience Desired Characteristics

Large Construction (EPC) and site experience Project Management Professional Certification International project execution Hydro electric industry experience is highly preferred University degree in Business Administration or equivalent commercial background Background in contract law, claims management, scheduling, risk and change management Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems; ability to lead programs/projects Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs; established project management skills Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range is $132,400-$176,300 USD/year. The offer may be influenced by experience, education, and work location. This position is eligible for variable incentive compensation.
