Overview
We are seeking a Data Management Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust data infrastructure and reporting solutions. This role involves creating scalable data models, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and security, and providing technical leadership across teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data warehousing, reporting tools, and data governance, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement reporting infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting databases. Define logical and physical data models optimized for reporting and analytics. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. Select and configure reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos. Implement data quality checks and security measures to protect sensitive information. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts. Monitor and optimize the performance of reporting systems and resolve bottlenecks. Collaborate with business users, data scientists, and other stakeholders to align reporting infrastructure with business needs. Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles. Proven experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions such as data warehouses and data marts. Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages. Hands-on experience with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos. Expertise in data integration and ETL processes. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mentoring and leading technical teams. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture patterns.
