This is a turnaround role for a Maintenance Manager at a well-established, globally recognised food manufacturer investing in its US operations. Location: Washington DC - Baltimore Area. Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $133,000.00/yr. Overview

This is a leadership role aimed at moving from reactive firefighting to calm, proactive control. You will lead a shift with 4–5 direct reports and the support of senior leadership who want you to take charge. What you’ll do

Turn a reactive culture into a structured, professionalised maintenance team. Raise the standards, boost reliability, and embed safety. Lead preventive maintenance initiatives so that time, energy, and spend are planned rather than panicked. Collaborate with a seasoned global engineering function and report directly to the Plant Manager. Coach, build culture, and improve standards quickly. What you’ll bring

Maintenance leadership in a food/FMCG or high-speed packaging environment. A proven track record of moving sites from reactive to planned maintenance. Strong technical grounding (electrical or mechanical). Ability to coach, build culture, and drive rapid improvements in standards. Seniority level
