Financial Services - Customer Tax Operations and Reporting - Tax Manager role at EY. Locations: New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Hoboken, Iselin, Jericho, Stamford, McLean. EY is a leader in serving the global financial services marketplace with a dedicated Financial Services Organization (FSO). The CTORS team focuses on US tax information reporting & withholding matters within the financial services sector, including non-resident alien withholding, FATCA, CRS, and related reporting and compliance initiatives. You will work with colleagues to advise clients on relevant tax rules and implement changes to their operations, processes and systems. Key Responsibilities

Interface daily with superiors, peers, subordinates, and clients on CTORS projects Interpret IRS Code and Regulations, draft guidance, analyze data, and develop requirements to help clients translate and implement these rules Conduct gap analyses of current policies, procedures, and systems; write business requirements Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts; participate in technical analysis and process improvement Respond to client requests for proposals and support the development of innovative technology solutions Train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have at a minimum: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience Be a licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or have the ability to obtain one of these designations Preferred/Ideal

Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB Ability to understand and implement tax rules; demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 or related experiences What We Look For
