We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive Industrial HVAC solution sales to contractors, engineers, and end-users. This role combines strong technical knowledge with customer-facing sales responsibilities, focusing on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering value-driven HVAC solutions tailored to industrial and commercial applications. This role can be based in Boise, Seattle, Spokane, or Portland metro locations. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, building owners, and facility managers in the industrial HVAC market. Promote and sell HVAC products and systems including chillers, air handlers, hydronic systems, controls, and other related technologies. Provide technical system and product support during the design and proposal stages of a project, collaborating with building owners and engineering firms to influence product specifications. Identify client needs through site visits, meetings, and consultations; recommend appropriate solutions that improve energy efficiency, system performance, and lifecycle value. Prepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages in response to RFQs and RFPs. Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to order close, ensuring seamless hand-off to project management and operations teams. Track sales activity and customer interactions in CRM; report on pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional association meetings. Stay current on industry trends, mechanical codes, and competitive products. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment sales. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and building systems integration. Strong understanding of the psychrometric chart and ability to deploy that knowledge to projects. Steam system knowledge. Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with controls integration, energy modeling, or HVAC performance analytics. Established contacts within the consulting engineering and contractor community. Familiarity with LEED, ASHRAE standards, and sustainability initiatives.
