Position Overview

As US Construction & Asset Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Black Sheep Coffees rapid growth across the US market. Based in our Miami office, youll be responsible for guiding and consulting on the lifecycle of construction and asset projects for both corporate and franchise stores from planning and budgeting through to delivery and post-opening snagging. Working closely with the Head of Construction & Facilities, Procurement Coordinator, and senior stakeholders including the Co-Founders & Co-CEOs, and COO, you will ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also own and develop the US Construction Brand Standards Manual, ensuring every project aligns with our global design principles while reflecting US market requirements. This is a highly visible role that underpins our expansion strategy in the US and ensures every new store opening is set up for success. Key Responsibilities Franchisee Support & Guidance:

Provide hands-on support to franchise partners throughout the construction and fit-out process, ensuring they have the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to deliver stores to Black Sheep Coffee standards. Act as a key point of contact for queries, approvals, and best-practice advice. CAPEX & Budget Oversight:

Assist franchisees in developing and managing project budgets, offering guidance on cost efficiency, value engineering, and financial reporting to ensure investments are controlled and aligned with brand expectations. Project Consulting:

Advise on project timelines, contractor selection, and delivery standards, ensuring franchisee projects align with the US Construction Brand Standards Manual and global expectations. Supplier & Contract Management:

Work with the Procurement Coordinator to recommend suppliers, consult on contract negotiations, and drive improved commercial terms. Asset Management:

Guide and oversee the lifecycle of assets across the US estate, ensuring consistency in quality, maintenance, and replacement planning. Brand Standards Ownership:

Own, maintain, and evolve the US Construction Brand Standards Manual, ensuring every store reflects Black Sheep Coffees identity and customer experience while meeting local compliance and operational needs. Compliance & Quality Control:

Advise on compliance with health, safety, and building regulations while safeguarding Black Sheep Coffee brand standards. Reporting:

Provide senior management with clear reporting on franchisee projects, budget adherence, and construction activity across the US estate. Senior Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with the Co-Founders & Co-CEOs, and COO to ensure US construction and asset strategies align with the wider business vision. Collaboration:

Partner cross-functionally with the Senior Director of Real Estate, Head of Franchise Development, Operations, New Shop Openings Manager, Supply Chain, and Franchise teams to ensure franchisees receive full support throughout the development process.

Requirements

Experience:

3+ years in construction management, project consulting, or asset management within retail, hospitality, or F&B. Skills:

Strong budgeting, supplier negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Excel. Mindset:

Detail-oriented, commercially driven, and highly adaptable in a fast-paced, growth environment. Knowledge:

Familiarity with US permitting, compliance, and building codes is essential.
