The Sr. Director of Veterinary Strategic Outreach and Relations will oversee the strategy, prioritization and development of all non-conference interactions, partnerships, outreach and projects geared towards a primarily veterinary professional audience. You will engage veterinary professionals where they are in their journey, establish TFD as a trusted partner and solution, and expand the sphere of trust and influence across veterinary medicine to support interdisciplinary collaboration. What You’ll Do

Lead the teams responsible for the creation, prioritization, development, and execution of all non-conference partnership, outreach, clinical/medical support, and engagement initiatives. Help TFD become a trusted partner with organizations and experts in the veterinary space, from organized veterinary medicine to key thought leaders and industry partners. Develop strategic approaches to grow veterinary professionals at every stage of their journey by providing tools and education at scale. Collaborate with the conference team to provide insight and strategy related to the needs of veterinary professionals from a journey and medical perspective. Evaluate new opportunities to expand our presence, drive excellent execution of current initiatives, and continually improve existing efforts, including measuring their impact. Work cross-functionally with teams to present a consistent face and identity to the veterinary profession, ensuring consistent messaging and platform/product development. Coordinate with engineering, growth marketing, and creative teams to align timing and sequencing of development priorities. Uphold the growth team principles: holistic thinking, disciplined prioritization, data-driven decision-making, proactive collaboration, and execution for impact. Qualifications

Typically a DVM (or equivalent) with 3-5+ years in clinical practice. 4-6+ years in the animal health industry with experience in veterinary relationship management, marketing to veterinary professionals, working with veterinary media groups, KOLs/KTLS, and professional organizations. Understanding of the current veterinary landscape and best practices to engage and influence modern veterinary professionals. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (engineering, marketing, creative, data). Proven ability to develop innovative programs and challenge traditional approaches. Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to build rapport and cross-disciplinary consensus. Self-starter, multi-channel experience, proactive mindset, high organization, and urgency in problem solving. End-to-end ownership mindset with comfort tackling complex problems without standard solutions. Curiosity, skepticism in inquiry, and ability to understand why; strong problem-solving and prioritization skills. Bias for speed with a test-and-learn approach and willingness to disagree and learn from it. Commitment to advancing fresh food for veterinary patients and contributing to knowledge, education, and science in this area. Office and Belonging

For this role the anticipated hiring base compensation range is $220,000 - $230,000 USD annual and will include a robust market-competitive base and equity package. Equity ownership will be provided in addition to base compensation. This range reflects NYC market data; outside NYC, the range may differ. Equal Employment Opportunity
