role at

The Farmer's Dog The Farmer’s Dog was born from a mission to change the landscape of pet health, providing dogs and their humans with honest, smart, and simple care. We’re starting by radically improving the $90 billion pet food industry, replacing bags of highly-processed pellets with a personalized subscription service that sends complete and balanced, freshly-made dog food directly to customers’ doors. Our ultimate goal is to create innovative, delightful and personalized experiences across all aspects of pet care, and we believe our direct-to-consumer business model, holistic approach to growth, and dynamic culture uniquely position us to shepherd this backwards industry into the future. What You’ll Do

Oversee the strategy, prioritization and development of all conference and event initiatives, projects and outcomes. Lead the creation of exciting, educational, and trust-building conference activities, collaborations, events, and experiences. Own the end-to-end approach to conferences, including booth experiences, education (CE tracks or booth education), marketing, social events, and partnerships to engage veterinary professionals. Partner with veterinarians and cross-functional teams to ensure medical accuracy, clinical focus, and alignment with growth and brand objectives. Design and build experiences for current and future veterinary professionals, from early explorers to major advocates. Own measurements of success and drive experimentation and iteration across initiatives. Collaborate with internal partners on timing and project prioritization. We Stand For

One Team: align around goals and solve problems holistically with the right people in the right rooms. We are skeptical about everything and precious about nothing: source input from customers and leads, and adjust when a better approach exists. We consider the customer journey in all decisions: ensure pathways lead to success and long-term retention across channels and messages. We Execute For Impact: focus on being the best we can be and move beyond rigid roles and industry benchmarks. We are focused and work without assumption: hypotheses-driven work, sequencing, and fast validation. Qualifications

You have 5-8+ years in the animal health industry with experience in veterinary conference planning/execution, veterinary marketing, educational initiatives, event planning, and working with veterinary organizations, vendors, and partners. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, creative, acquisitions, and data teams. Proven ability to develop best-in-class initiatives and challenge traditional programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build rapport and consensus. Creative, self-starting, and energized by multi-channel work; proactive and opportunity-seeking. Highly organized with strong prioritization to drive urgent solutions. End-to-end ownership mindset and willingness to tackle complex problems without off-the-shelf solutions. Curious, skeptical, and driven to understand the "why" behind decisions. Problem-solving skills to manage, sequence and prioritize tasks effectively; ability to move quickly with experimentation. Comfort with speed and a mindset that balances big thinking with rapid iteration. Willing to disagree and openly acknowledge when wrong; passion for advancing knowledge about fresh food in veterinary care. A DVM or equivalent is a valuable add, but not required. Benefits
