Overview
Solve complex business problems for Private Equity (PE) firms and their portfolio companies as a Solutions Architect within AWS Global Sales. The role focuses on driving technology adoption, building executive relationships, and delivering cloud-based solutions that enable PE firms and portfolio companies to achieve operational outcomes. Responsibilities
Serve as a key technical member of the Business Development team to help customers build applications and services on the AWS platform. Establish technical credibility in sales cycles and engage with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, Senior Developers, and other technical leaders across PE clients and partners. Scope customer engagements with clear objectives and success criteria. Provide technical and architectural guidance to PE firms and their portfolios; help develop cost optimization strategies using appropriate AWS architectures and pricing models. Collaborate with PE firms and portfolio companies to ensure the technical resources needed to succeed with AWS. Build relationships with executives at PE firms and portfolio companies, leveraging knowledge of enterprise architecture, M&A, migration, and IT cost optimization. Support AWS Platform briefings, roadmaps, and office hours for portfolio companies; conduct specialized workshops and training for the broader AWS customer base. Work with AWS Account Solutions Architects, Business Development, and Professional Services to migrate legacy applications and develop cloud-native solutions using patterns such as microservices, serverless, and containers; apply Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure experience 4+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics 4+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries Preferred Qualifications Experience in software development or Internet-related industries Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud Experience working with AWS technologies from a DevOps perspective About the Team
