Join to apply for the Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Midlevel role at Perkins Coie. Associate with two to four years of employment law experience to join its Labor & Employment practice group in the Chicago office. Work with a demonstrated passion for building a practice and a desire to work creatively with clients to find solutions. Experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions (preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm). Ideal candidates will have experience in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, handling wage and hour matters, and client counseling. Experience in drafting the following preferred: motions to compel arbitration; discovery requests and responses; oppositions to motions for class certification (including declaration gathering drives); long-form settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions; separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs. Admitted to the Illinois bar. Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills. Experience in employment litigation, including court appearances and depositions. Compensation range: $235,000 to $310,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid Holidays, and family care benefits.
