Defending single plaintiff harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, charges, and lawsuits in state and federal court Defending complaints and charges before the CRD, EEOC, and/or California Labor Commissioner General employment-related advice and counsel Preparing and responding to discovery requests Conducting and defending depositions Law and motion work: preparing and responding to dispositive motions, moving to compel arbitration, and discovery-related motions Preparing case evaluations for clients Proactive handling and/or management of cases Preparing for and attending mediations, preparing mediation briefs Attending court hearings, status conferences, arguing dispositive motions Arbitration and trial experience Excellent research and writing skills Qualifications
