Job Summary The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for assisting the manager in HR functions and implementing HR policies, programs, and practices that align with the organization's goals. He/she will provide strategic guidance on HR matters and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Human Resource Generalist also manages employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee development, and other HR functions. Responsibilities Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and practices that align with the organization's goals and legal requirements. Manage employee relations, including addressing employee inquiries, conflicts, and performance issues. Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new hires. Develop and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback, responsible for employee’s probation and termination process. Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits. Develop and implement employee development and training programs to support career growth and skills development. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as employment laws, labor laws, and company policies. Manage employee records, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), and other HR-related documentation. Stay updated with HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure effective HR operations. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. (Master Degree preferred). A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR management. Experience of working in restaurant & hospitality groups, or similar organizations that manage 100-300 employees is a plus. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle employee relations matters with professionalism. Ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with organizational goals. Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to build HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office applications. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
