The Mgr, HR Business Partner is a mid-level leader position that provides support in aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This role supports partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Mgr, HR Business Partner is an expert in the HRBP field and will lead as well as respond to escalated needs to drive successful execution of business strategies through development, implementation, and continuous improvement of people programs. As a leader, this role models behaviors to preserve the credibility and influence of the HRBP function and supports developing junior HRBP professionals. Typically provides support and is the face of HR for employees up to VP/GM level leaders within their respective business unit. The position requires a proactive individual who can navigate ambiguity, reprioritize quickly, and influence performance and behaviors through passion for people and commitment to delivering premier performance. Responsibilities

Facilitates and leads discussions of prioritized meetings related to people and talent programs within their respective business units. Consults and mediates employees up to VP/GM level leaders (typically officer leadership) by providing HR guidance when appropriate. Delivers and develops capability-building support for lower-level HRBP professionals. Identifies and communicates trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group and provides recommendations and leads solutions to drive desired outcomes. Communicates data-driven insights clearly, tailoring the message to the audience and identifying which data matter. Manages employee relations issues up to VP/GM level leaders (typically non-officer leadership) by collecting and preserving objective evidence to support recommendations. Maintains knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to day-to-day management of employees; partners with the legal department as needed. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance for leaders and below (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works with leaders to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Translates and navigates HR policy guidance and interpretation. Consults on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. Models emotionally mature behaviors and builds strong interpersonal relationships. Identifies training needs for business units and coaching needs for leaders and below. Leads change management initiatives and coordinates with Centers of Excellence to optimize program impact. Develops and facilitates presentations and proposals related to HR and people programs. Advocates for improvements to enhance employee experiences and work environments. Leads programmatic management of HR/People projects and processes to support optimization and effectiveness. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum five (5) years, preferred 7+ years of HR or related experience with a degree or eight (8)+ years without a degree. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced proficiency in HRBP capabilities including business and financial acumen, change management, communication, compliance, project management, strategic alignment, data interpretation, risk management, employee experience, talent management, workforce planning, and Agile influence. Ability to translate data into business decisions and present findings to diverse audiences. Ability to work with senior leaders up to VP/GM level and influence outcomes. Other
