Position Summary
Our client, a leading non-emergency medical transportation provider based in Memphis, is seeking a Human Resources Director for their growing organization. The Human Resources Director provides strategic leadership for all HR functions across the company. This role designs and implements a comprehensive compensation and rewards structure, shapes policies and practices to attract and retain talent, and fosters a high-performance, compliant, and employee-centered culture. As a trusted advisor to executives, the HR Director will guide senior leadership on personnel decisions and drive organizational effectiveness through people strategy. Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for all HR functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Design and implement a competitive compensation and rewards structure. Guide senior leadership on personnel decisions, succession planning, and workforce strategy. Shape HR policies and practices that attract, retain, and develop top talent. Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes compliance, equity, and employee engagement. Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on people strategy and organizational effectiveness. Oversee employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. Lead HR initiatives that strengthen recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention efforts. Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions. Develop and mentor the HR team, building a strong and effective department. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Masters degree and / or HR certification (PHR / SPHR / SHRM-CP / SCP) highly preferred. 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with strong knowledge of HR best practices. Proven experience designing compensation and rewards programs. Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Ability to operate strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations. Willingness to work onsite in Memphis strongly preferred; hybrid arrangements may be considered. Benefits
