The Territory Manager collaborates with the Area Sales Manager, Patient Care Services (PCS) Representatives, and Doctor’s offices to facilitate sales growth and efficient insurance authorizations and placements for DJO’s products. Partner with other Territory Managers in the geographic area to learn the Bone Growth Stimulator business, identify and cultivate potential customers, and close business. Service-oriented duties include fitting patients and following up with Health Care Providers on patient status. Sales and account responsibilities include covering accounts in the territory, promoting products, managing inventory, and progressively converting customers to DJO. Meet and exceed business targets (quotas) and keep the team informed of sales activity, market trends, and competitor activity. Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and physician/clinician calls. Assist in identifying and qualifying potential sales leads, introduce the Company’s products, and cultivate relationships with surgeons, physicians, therapists, and other device users. Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager on inventory management and building appropriate inventory levels to meet customer needs. Provide product knowledge after training, tailor promotional messaging, advise on product selection, answer questions, and differentiate DJO products from competitors. Educate patients on application, use, care, and expected outcomes for CMF products as indicated by physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations. Demonstrate proper use of CMF products, including delivery, setup, and patient instruction at medical facilities or private residences; assist with equipment delivery, setup, and service as needed. Coordinate, prepare, gather, and submit accurate paperwork required for insurance billing in a timely manner; obtain insurance information for verification and pre-authorization when appropriate. Process all patient documentation daily, ensure claims are accurate and fully documented; follow up on open accounts and maintain thorough records. Demonstrate commitment to the DJO Compliance & Ethics Program, the Code of Conduct, and applicable regulations and policies; treat PHI with confidentiality per HIPAA. Maintain basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues and adhere to guidelines; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. Must be able to relocate in the specified geography upon assignment to Territory Manager role. Must be willing to remain in the Sales Associate role for a minimum of one year. General Skills and Knowledge

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Technical skills: eagerness to acquire necessary technical knowledge and judgment to serve customers; pursue training and development opportunities. Analytical and mathematical skills: ability to work with figures, discounts, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry concepts. Problem solving, decision making, adaptability, and business acumen to understand implications of decisions and meet customer needs.
