Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance management. Conduct thorough, impartial internal investigations into complaints related to workplace conduct, discrimination, harassment, and policy violations. Advise managers and HR regional managers on complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with organizational values and legal requirements. Draft and review documentation such as disciplinary letters, investigation summaries, and separation agreements. Monitor changes in employment law and HR regulations; provide proactive guidance and training to HR teams and leadership. Collaborate with Legal Counsel on high-risk cases, litigation support, or regulatory inquiries. Develop and implement employee relations policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure legal compliance and promote best practices. Track trends in ER issues, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations to improve workplace culture and mitigate risk. Drive and support a fair and equitable employee relations practice. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. JD (Juris Doctor) or advanced legal education strongly preferred. 5+ years of experience in employee relations, or employment law. Strong knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII). Experience conducting complex workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee issues. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) a plus. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
