As a
Lead AV Technician , you will oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge AV systems. Your role is critical in ensuring seamless execution, high-quality workmanship, and adherence to project timelines. You will lead by example, guiding and mentoring junior technicians while collaborating with project managers and clients. Responsibilities
Install and configure AV systems, including displays, speakers, control systems, and conferencing solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with efficiency and accuracy. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure all installations meet industry standards and company quality expectations. Train and mentor junior technicians to maintain a high-performing team. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and successful project completion. Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
5 years
of experience as an AV Technician, with leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, control systems, and low-voltage wiring. Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, and similar platforms. Ability to read and interpret AV system drawings and schematics. Industry certifications (CTS, Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS) preferred. Must be comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and construction sites. Location:
In-field and on-site at client locations. Work Environment:
Fast-paced, technical, and team-oriented. Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments. Travel Requirements:
