We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer specializing in Industrial Controls and Automation projects. Responsibilities
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical documentation. Design and implement control systems that may include PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related automation technologies. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure requirements are met. Provide advanced technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians. Ensure that engineering solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Identify issues and implement effective solutions to maintain project progress and integrity. Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including design specifications and reports. Work closely with departments to ensure engineering efforts support overall business objectives. Drive technological advancements and stay up to date with industry trends to keep the company competitive. Education And Experience
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is a plus 7+ years in industrial controls, automation, or related engineering field Proficiency with PLC programming Strong knowledge of control panel design, instrumentation, and electrical systems Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software Experience managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and commissioning Experience with Schneider, Allen Bradley, WAGO, and/or Beckhoff PLCs is a plus Experience with Schneider, Allen-Bradley, and/or Maple Systems HMIs is a plus Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL 508A Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, or process automation Additional Eligibility Requirements
