Location: Miami, FL (Coconut Grove area) - local candidates only
100% in-office full-time position (Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm)

Summary Miami-based fund management company seeks a full-time, detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to support our growing Fund Accounting team. Selected candidate will maintain accurate books and records for company funds, collaborate with Fund Administrators, and help ensure timely financial reporting. Candidates with hands-on accounting / bookkeeping experience in Debt Funds or Private Equity will be given strong preference.
Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting for multiple entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger upkeep
Prepare and review cash management reports, bank reconciliations, and fund cash flows
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
Coordinate with external Fund Administrators to validate NAV calculations and ensure all supporting schedules are complete
Support preparation of investor statements and fee invoices
Track and record fund expenses, management fees, and carried interest calculations
Help compile documentation for internal and external audits
Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable process
Qualifications – Senior Fund Accountant
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required (preferably within debt funds, private equity, or other alternative-asset structures)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting highly preferred
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software) and Excel required
Experience preparing bank reconciliations, cash management reports, and month-end/quarter-end close support required
Solid understanding of fund accounting terminology and processes (capital calls, distributions, management fees) highly preferred
Familiarity with NAV validation and supporting schedules preferred
Exposure to investor statement and fee invoice preparation preferred
Audit support experience (compiling documentation, liaising with auditors) preferred
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external administrators
