Act as a key thought partner to the CEO and leadership team on financial direction and company strategy Lead FP&A functions, including annual planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and executive-level reporting Align financial goals with broader organizational priorities, guiding the business toward sustainable growth Oversee accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and reporting systems Analyze cost structures, margins, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement Manage short- and long-term cash flow strategies to maintain liquidity and support operational needs Oversee AP/AR for optimized collections and reporting Develop and maintain strong internal control frameworks to ensure compliance and mitigate risk Lead audits, tax filings, and ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local jurisdictions Direct and develop an accounting team of 5, ensuring clarity in roles and alignment to department goals Build a high-performing culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning Act as a mentor and coach, providing leadership and guidance in both strategic and day-to-day functions Identify opportunities to streamline finance operations through process improvements and technology adoption Drive initiatives to improve financial systems (e.g., ERP/NetSuite) and reporting efficiency Manage relationships with banks, auditors, insurance providers, and other key financial vendors Represent the organization in financial negotiations and third-party engagements Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred 10–15 years of progressive experience, including at least 5–7 years in a leadership role managing teams of 5 or more Strong experience with SaaS metrics, FP&A, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and global financial operations Track record of leading finance strategy in high-growth or scaling environments Deep understanding of GAAP, audit requirements, and investor communications Expertise with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms, as well as advanced Excel and financial modeling tools Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Must be able to commute to our NYC office 3 days per week Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times What We Offer
