We’re looking for a

Paid Media & Performance Marketing Manager

to lead Sploot’s paid advertising efforts and client acquisition strategy. You’ll design and optimize campaigns to attract, nurture, and convert new pet parents through the right blend of creative, targeting, and timing. You’ll lead performance efforts on emerging platforms like YouTube and TikTok, with light-touch support for recruiting campaigns. You’ll work with lifecycle, brand, and local marketing teammates to align creative, messaging, and targeting to clinic dynamics, ensuring every dollar spent translates into booked appointments and long-term relationships. This hybrid role is based at Sploot HQ and requires living in Denver. What You’ll Own

Own Sploot’s paid acquisition program across Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. Build and evolve a high-performing client acquisition strategy spanning the full funnel. Determine the optimal ad mix across platforms and funnel stages to maximize ROI. Design campaign structures across channels aligned with real-time business needs, including clinic capacity and appointment availability. Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns, testing targeting, bidding, and creative. Identify opportunities to streamline and automate advertising workflows using AI tools, agents, or scripts. Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing ad concepts and formats. Design and execute systematic creative testing frameworks and analyze performance for future content. Insights & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics and proactively adjust campaigns. Identify trends, diagnose underperformance, and implement solutions quickly. Build and maintain reporting dashboards for campaign performance tracking (GA4, Mixpanel). Ensure data accuracy and clean attribution across the marketing stack. Audience Development: Develop and refine customer personas based on campaign data. Build and test custom audiences, lookalikes, and interest-based targeting. Collaborate with lifecycle marketing on retargeting and customer journey optimization. Pilot and scale new platforms (YouTube, TikTok) to drive growth and capture early learnings; support future investment. Support recruiting ads on LinkedIn and Indeed. Who You Are

3–6 years of experience in performance marketing or digital advertising, ideally in a high-growth B2C business. Deep knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads, managing significant ad spend ($50K+ monthly) with hands-on funnel experience (search, demand gen, GDN). Strong familiarity with YouTube and TikTok Ads, or strong curiosity to ramp up. Experience with DTC/eCommerce preferred; experience with physical-location-based businesses a plus. Strong analytical skills with a track record of campaign optimization and actioning insights. Detail-oriented with solid project management and organizational skills. Creative mindset and ability to collaborate with creative teams. Proficient in GA4, Mixpanel, and maintaining clean attribution across the stack.
