As a key technical leader on our team, you’ll have the opportunity and responsibility to set the direction of our integration systems for years to come, focusing on technical integrations that support POS solutions and marketplace growth and reliability. Responsibilities
Take a lead role in developing the technical roadmap driving the transformation of our integrations tech stack, in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders across the organization. Build, lead, and mentor exceptional teams of software engineers, lead conversations, and cultivate execution and decision-making; align with customer satisfaction and project delivery goals. Drive the execution of our vision by translating business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring products are robust and meet engineering standards while achieving goals. Leverage technical expertise and communication skills to collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to influence systems and roadmaps. Operate with scale and speed to determine the ideal development lifecycle, technical design, and approach for new and existing solutions. Instill best practices for software development while delivering high-quality work by fostering pragmatism and urgency. Contribute technically: brainstorm with engineers, design solutions, and review PRs. Have fun building meaningful software with great people. Qualifications
Ability to assess and grow highly specialized engineers and/or full stack talent and understand how that affects team dynamics. A passion for building and growing high-performing teams, prior management experience, and a desire to be an impactful leader. Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics for applications and systems. Extensive full-stack web development experience, ideally in a third-party integrations setting. Working knowledge of modern server-side and client-side frameworks; Ruby, Rails, and React are a plus. Knowledge of the AI ecosystem and experience introducing AI tools into enterprise-facing products thoughtfully is a plus. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; Postgres is a bonus. Flexible growth mindset, willingness to adapt the team for success. Goal orientation with a track record of leading leaders and engineers. Desire to collaborate with strong engineers and engineering leaders to continually improve a mature engineering team, combined with a sharp mind, a soft heart, and humor. The national cash compensation range for this role is $190,000 - $230,000 per year. Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience and region, and may vary from the range above.
