Ericsson . We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Forward Deployed Solution Architect to the Americas AI Acceleration Hub within Ericsson’s Strategic Projects and Transformation Unit. This role is critical in driving transformative technological initiatives by embedding directly with business teams, while ensuring seamless collaboration with Ericsson’s Central IT and other key stakeholders. As a forward-deployed architect, you will operate at the intersection of innovation, implementation, and cross-functional coordination, delivering scalable and impactful solutions tailored to Ericsson’s strategic priorities. Embed directly with business units across the Americas to act as a primary technical advisor, driving the successful design and implementation of tailored solution architectures. Collaborate with Ericsson’s Central IT teams to align forward-deployed initiatives with enterprise-wide standards, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. Design and deploy end-to-end solutions, translating complex business requirements into architecture blueprints aligned with Ericsson’s strategic goals and technological landscapes. Partner with program managers, product owners, and technical engineers to define project scope, prioritize deliverables, and overcome implementation hurdles. Lead workshops and design sessions to evaluate technical requirements and co-create solutions that integrate seamlessly across decentralized business units and enterprise systems. Facilitate proof-of-concept (PoC) projects in close coordination with local teams and Central IT, iteratively validating innovations and ensuring rapid deployment of impactful outcomes. Troubleshoot and resolve system integration challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of deployed solutions while proactively addressing non-functional requirements such as scalability and performance. Advocate for and drive adoption of modern technologies, including cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, DevOps practices, and AI/ML capabilities, tailored to the specific needs of business teams. Regularly communicate insights and progress to senior technical and business leaders to maintain transparency and alignment across all strategic AI/IT initiatives. Skills you’ll bring

Experience and Education: 5–7 years of experience as a Solution Architect, forward-deployed engineer, or in a comparable role working across business units and centralized IT organizations. A proven track record of designing and deploying scalable enterprise solutions tailored to real-world operational needs, with a focus on high-impact projects that integrate with enterprise ecosystems. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Transferable Skills: Expertise in integrating cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP into enterprise environments, with familiarity around Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Solid grasp of integration frameworks, middleware tools, and API design patterns, enabling seamless data flow and system communication across business functions. Hands-on experience embedding AI/ML tools and platforms into enterprise workflows, delivering applied and scalable artificial intelligence solutions. Knowledge of DevOps principles, toolchains, CI/CD practices, and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Docker, with emphasis on repeatable and efficient deployments. Proficiency with architectural principles (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems) and their application for robust, future-facing solutions. Collaboration and Communication: Demonstrated ability to work closely with Central IT teams to align decentralized business solution architectures with global enterprise strategies. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to cultivate trust and alignment across technical, operational, and business teams. Clear and structured communication skills, with fluency in conveying technical findings to business audiences and vice versa.
