Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. We are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist that will work on modeling and metric development initiatives to shape our understanding customers' engagement with Prime Video, and help unlock new opportunities to elevate customer experiences. Responsibilities
You will work closely with Product and Business Intelligence Engineers to develop, evaluate, and operationalize new metrics to measure the impact of our product launches on customers streaming needs and business outcomes. You will work on large, complex datasets to develop models which will provide data-driven insights into customers' streaming behaviors. You will identify simple and inventive approaches to increase the operational efficiency of models and metrics. You will collaborate with product leaders on deep dives whose outcomes will influence feature launch decisions. Basic Qualifications
5+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience 4+ years of data scientist experience Bachelor's degree Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistic regression Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
