Overview
Senior Manager of Education at MCI USA. The Senior Manager of Education is responsible for the tactical execution and operational management of SDFM’s education portfolio. This role supports the Director of Education and Certification in delivering high-impact, high-volume educational programming that drives member value, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The Senior Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of both virtual and in-person events, ensuring alignment with SDFM’s mission to advance national security through financial management excellence. Responsibilities
Program Execution & Event Management: Plan and execute a robust calendar of educational events, including webinars, workshops, and regional trainings; manage speaker coordination, session logistics, and post-event evaluations to ensure quality and consistency; collaborate with the Events and Marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery and promotion of programs. Audience Engagement & Growth: Develop strategies to increase participation across member segments and targeted customer groups; leverage chapter infrastructure and volunteer networks to expand reach and localize offerings; monitor participation trends and feedback to continuously improve program design and delivery. Operational Support: Maintain accurate program records in Altai AMS and Path LMS, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy; coordinate with the Education Coordinator to manage registration, CPE tracking, and learner communications; support the Director in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and board use. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in adult education, event planning, or association management. Proven track record of managing high-volume educational programs with measurable outcomes. Experience working with military, government, or regulated sectors preferred. Preferred

Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders. Customer service orientation with a focus on member value and satisfaction. Altai AMS: Proficient in managing member records, event registration, and reporting Path LMS: Skilled in course setup, learner tracking, and content updates. Zoom & Smartsheet: For virtual delivery and project coordination Microsoft Teams & SharePoint: For internal collaboration and file management. EventPower (preferred): Familiarity with abstract management and event logistics AI Tools: Comfort with leveraging AI for content development and exam item generation Additional Requirements
