As a
Warehouse Export Associate
at MMC, you will support the preparation and fulfillment of export customer orders as well as harbor stock shipments and just-in-time (JIT) orders. Your main focus will be on staging, labeling, and loading products while assisting with USDA export requirements. This entry-level role is hands-on and requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn specialized order fulfillment procedures. By working closely with supervisors, inspectors, and teammates, you will help ensure that shipments leave the warehouse accurately, safely, and on time. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math for labeling and order checks.
Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
Willingness to follow warehouse safety procedures and USDA export guidelines.
Previous warehouse or shipping experience helpful, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift or pallet jack certification (or willingness to be trained).
Experience working in a warehouse, shipping, or order fulfillment role.
Familiarity with inventory systems or shipping paperwork.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Pick, stage, and prepare export orders according to supervisor instructions.
Apply correct labels to export shipments, ensuring they meet USDA and customer requirements.
Assist USDA inspectors and Quality Assurance staff during product checks.
Help prepare basic paperwork and ensure export orders are organized for supervisor review.
Safely load trucks and containers for export shipments.
Stage and load harbor stock orders and just-in-time (JIT) shipments to meet time-sensitive customer needs.
Verify harbor stock and JIT orders against pick lists before loading.
Maintain clear staging areas for both export and domestic shipments to avoid errors or delays.
Report any product, labeling, or paperwork issues to a supervisor right away.
Work with teammates to meet daily shipping deadlines and maintain compliance standards.
