Astor & Sanders Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The SharePoint Administrator will configure, manage, and maintain SharePoint Server environments (2016/2019) and support governance, backups, and migrations as part of a dynamic IT team. Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and maintain SharePoint Server (2016/2019) environments, including Web applications, site collections, content databases, and service applications Manage user permissions, Active Directory integration, and SharePoint security policies Implement and maintain governance policies, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery strategies Administer and optimize Central Administration, Search Service Application, User Profile Service, and Managed Metadata Service Support and manage migrations between SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online using tools such as SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), ShareGate, or Metalogix System maintenance and monitoring including routine health checks, applying patches, and service packs to maintain system stability Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and respond to system alerts or issues affecting SharePoint availability or performance Investigate and resolve SharePoint errors, performance bottlenecks, and service disruptions Provide tier 2/3 support to end users and site owners for SharePoint issues Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides Deploy and configure custom or third-party SharePoint solutions, features, and web parts Assist with migrations or upgrades between SharePoint versions or from older to newer environments Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in SharePoint Server administration, with at least 3 years of specialized experience managing, configuring, and supporting SharePoint On-Premises environments Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) or Level II Certification (Security+ or better) and four years of relevant experience Active Top Secret security clearance Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, and CompTIA Security+ are preferred Benefits
