The selected candidate for this role will support our retail stores and offer exceptional customer service within a 15-mile radius of Store #1760, located at 3850 Alpine Ave NW Comstock Park MI, 49321. As a Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving store sales goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Assisting customers both in person and over the phone by understanding their needs and presenting suitable products and services.
Building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintaining precise files and product formulas.
Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications.
Restocking shelves and organizing displays.
Cleaning store equipment and maintaining a tidy workspace.
Loading and unloading delivery trucks and assisting with deliveries as necessary.
Ensuring assigned areas are in-stock and visually appealing.
Staying knowledgeable about product offerings and discussing options with customers.
Following inventory control procedures and suggesting improvements to boost sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Authorized to work in the country without needing visa sponsorship.
A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required.
Ability to frequently lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
A High School diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Experience selling paint and related products.
Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment.
Proficiency in more than one language is a plus, especially Spanish.
