Location: Palo Alto, CA or New York City, NY (Midtown Manhattan) - Hybrid 3 days/week onsite. Work Mode: Hybrid. Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 6+ Software and Firmware QA Engineers. Define and drive quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices across software and firmware development cycles. Oversee the deployment and integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Oversee the planning, development, and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both manual and automated testing. Collaborate with Hardware development teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC. Coordinate and prioritize testing activities to meet release schedules and project milestones. Implement and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to assess product quality and team performance. Identify and mitigate risks related to product quality and delivery timelines. Advocate for continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and methodologies. Participate in release readiness reviews and Scrum meetings to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, estimates, or potential problems, and ensure all quality criteria are met before product launch. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer, with at least 3 years in a team management role. Experience in development using Python. Experience with functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, Espresso or XCUI. Experience validating iOS, Android. Ability to translate business requirements into test plans and develop test automation at all layers of the software stack. Minimal travel, domestic and international, is needed. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Availability to work outside of standard business hours to collaborate with teams and vendors across multiple time zones. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge in software and hardware/firmware and information security for cloud and IoT devices. Experience validating embedded firmware for IoT devices. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The base salary range for this position is $126,900 - $158,600. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location. This position is subject to Area Salary Differential (Cost of Living Adjustment) that ranges from 24.5%-30% of base salary for the San Francisco Bay area. The base salary range including ASD for this position is $164,970 - $206,180 depending on location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive.
