Our operations include regional and 988 crisis lines across Washington State. Position Overview: This full-time position offers crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information & referral, and brief supportive counseling via telephone. The Crisis Counselor I assesses client needs, provides support, and coordinates appropriate services, including dispatching teams for face-to-face evaluations. Responsibilities: Provide crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and supportive counseling Conduct client assessments according to policies Manage client interactions efficiently and appropriately Document interactions accurately and timely Meet performance goals Utilize technology for client interactions Coordinate assessments and services Participate in staff meetings and trainings Mentor and support new staff Provide backup coverage for crisis lines as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field At least 1 year experience in healthcare contact center or mental health counseling Registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor or equivalent within 30 days of employment Skills: Fluency in English (oral and written) Courteous, empathetic, professional demeanor Motivational interviewing and active listening Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to multitask and use electronic records efficiently Equal Opportunity:
