Internship Opportunity At Collins Aerospace

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run from May/June to December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). What You Will Do:

Support process improvement projects focused on productivity. Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify opportunities for optimization. Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning projects. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and standardization. Create and maintain documentation such as process maps and standard work instructions. What You Will Learn:

Application of industrial engineering principles in a real-world production environment. Process optimization techniques and tools such as 5S, Kaizen and value stream mapping. Networking opportunities through exposure to cross-functional team members and leaders within our organization. Professional development in communication, teamwork, and leadership within a corporate setting. Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiarity with data analysis tools (Minitab, SQL, Power BI, etc.) Experience in AutoCAD or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
