Overview
We are seeking a Cypress QA (Typescript) in Charlotte, NC to join our growing QA team. You will work in an agile environment and collaborate with engineers to develop and execute automated tests that ensure the quality and reliability of our web applications. Base pay range
$45.00/hr - $55.00/hr Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications Write and optimize tests in TypeScript/JavaScript to ensure comprehensive test coverage Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks with Cypress Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and create robust test cases Identify, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) for continuous testing Troubleshoot and debug issues within the test code, application code, and browser environments Maintain and improve test coverage, test stability, and overall test performance Ensure quality by continuously improving test automation best practices Stay updated with the latest Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript trends and testing techniques
Requirements
5-7 years of experience in an test automation development role Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills
