We are seeking an AFS Business/Technical Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our AFS L3 to Vision and data modernization initiatives by providing subject matter expertise on the AFS data model to inform end-of-day reporting of AFS data to downstream consumers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Work independently, meet with line of business stakeholders, and ask questions to gain an understanding of their requirements. Use critical thinking skills to break down requirements into the lowest level details for functional design. Collaborate with technical team members to translate business requirements into a format that allows the technical team to understand and determine the proper technical design. Create clear and complete Test Acceptance Criteria and execute testing to ensure accurate output during Unit and UAT phases. Create and execute SQL scripts for ETL/data testing. Conduct research and development based on current trends and technologies related to the banking industry, data engineering and architecture, data security, and related topics. Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms. Plan and work on internal projects as needed, including legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics improvements, tool development, and technical documentation. Provide guidance and mentoring for other team members. Manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in: 5+ years experience with AFS in an operational, business analyst, or tech support capacity. Extract, transform, and load processes for sharing AFS data with downstream data consumers. Financial, regulatory, and compliance reporting requirements. Knowledge of AFS data hierarchies including currents, futures, takedowns, obligations, and process types. Core Skills: Analytical, strong communication skills, able to run meetings, problem solving and critical thinking. Bachelors degree in business/technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills able to communicate ideas verbally and in writing to management, business, IT sponsors, and technical resources in language appropriate for each group. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills when resolving data-related issues or designing new solutions. Technical skills SQL. Experienced in SDLC and able to assist in project management, including understanding release management protocols and managing important implementation tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial crimes/financial industry knowledge. Advanced SQL skills. Location: Onsite in Cincinnati Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional growth.
