IT Business Systems Analyst HRIS Technology , you will be responsible for leading and managing the configuration and administration of our Workday platform and associated HRIS technology which includes the Human Capital Management (HCM), Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Learning Management, and Talent Acquisition. The position reports to the Chief Technology Officer. Responsibilities include the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of our Workday environment and HRIS business technology. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT and HR, Payroll, and Recruiting; ensuring Workday supports and evolves with the company's operations, driving functional excellence through optimized system performance, process improvements, and stakeholder collaboration. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to analyze requirements, and implement solutions in support of business operations. In addition, you should have a technical and analytical background and be able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users. Responsibilities
Workday Configuration
Design, configure, and maintain modules across Workday (e.g., HCM, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits) Implement changes and enhancements based on evolving business needs Support rollout of new features and upgrades with testing and documentation
System Administration
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, security, and integrations Oversee user access, roles, and security groups in compliance with internal controls Collaborate with internal teams and Workday support for technical resolution
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
Partner with HR, Finance, and other departments to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions Analyze data, workflows, and existing configurations for improvement opportunities Develop reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making
Project Management & Documentation
Lead or assist in system-related projects, upgrades, and implementations Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and change logs Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions with stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field 3+ years of experience in Workday systems, configuration, or administration Hands-on experience with one or more Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, and Learning Management Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and business process framework Strong understanding of HRIS platforms and enterprise software environments Strong critical thinking, analytical design skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Skills
