As a Contract Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, amendments, renewals, and non-disclosure agreements. This position ensures compliance with company policies and legal standards. We are looking for a meticulous, analytical individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and effectively communicates our contracting policies both internally and to external partners. Key Responsibilities Review, draft, and negotiate various sales contracts, tailored agreements, and vendor contracts. Assist in drafting responses to customer RFPs when necessary. Develop and maintain up-to-date internal contract templates and forms. Maintain precise records of all contracts and documentation. Monitor contract performance to ensure timely renewals and amendments. Identify and escalate complex matters to appropriate internal resources. Collaborate with sales, finance, professional services, and security teams to resolve contract-related issues. Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and accurately. Process Improvement
Leverage Contract Lifecycle Management tools, such as DocuSign CLM and AI technology, to enhance contracting processes. Support legal operations to boost contract management efficiency and align processes with business objectives. Assist in developing and implementing best practices for contract management using AI and other innovative tools. Additional Responsibilities
Contribute to other projects and initiatives as directed by senior legal counsel. Approach every task with a commitment to excellent customer service. What You Bring: A minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, ideally in the software sector. Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology. Experience in RFP processes and with tools such as Contract Lifecycle Management and CRM systems. Proficiency in utilizing AI tools. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Adept at working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A Juris Doctorate degree is a plus but not required. Additional experience in intellectual property, data security, litigation management, or government contracting is advantageous. This is a full-time position aimed at mid-senior level professionals within the legal function of the software development industry.
