Bourbon Steak is Chef Michael Minas love letter to the classic American steakhouse. Timeless steakhouse dishes are elevated by Chef Minas refined technique and infused with his arsenal of world flavors and creative flair. The restaurant accomplishes all the traditions expected from a steakhouse, offering the finest cuts of premium beef and seafood complimented by a cutting-edge wine and spirits program, and using local farmers and purveyors to highlight the regions finest ingredients. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary guest contact in the bar, selling, preparing and serving mixed beverages, wine and food. Prepare and serve beverages; oversee bar maintenance; make menu suggestions; deliver food and drinks; describe dishes to guests; recommend wine selections. Monitor guest satisfaction and manage inventory to ensure smooth service operations and quality service. Operate effectively as part of a team; communicate clearly; maintain pleasant, conscientious, and professional conduct with extensive knowledge of mixology, products, and alcoholic beverage selections. Maintain clean and organized work stations aligned with the restaurant's philosophy, culture, and standards of excellence. Understand programs, procedures, standards, guidelines, and training; represent the restaurant professionally through effective communication and cooperation with business partners. Required Qualifications
3-4 years of fine dining mixology experience; generally at least 5 years of dining room experience with thorough knowledge of fine dining service procedures and functions. Cleanliness, organization, and ability to work well in a team. Extensive Food and Wine knowledge; strong mathematical ability; experience with POS systems and Microsoft-based computer systems. Minimum age to serve alcohol; high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; strong financial acumen; excellent grooming, hygiene, posture, and required uniform and tools. Responsive to constructive feedback from Chefs and Managers.
