Inside Higher Ed . Location: Houston, Texas. Responsibilities

Reviews, analyzes and modifies applications and systems to include coding, testing, debugging and documenting software and programs. Develop codes for interactive data driven web applications. Develop interfaces to back-end databases. Troubleshoot and debug pre-production web applications. Maintain and upgrade applications. Troubleshoot web server, setup and control form issues in system which affects web applications. Assist to analyze, design and test new and/or existing systems. Compile and write documentation to describe program development and revisions. Assist in determining user requirements for new and modified programs and/or systems. Keep current with the latest technology; regularly attend technical training in order to maintain technical expertise. Qualifications

Associates degree or 60 hours of college credit coursework in a related field required Bachelors degree preferred 4 years directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of required degree 4 years experience programming or application development in a web-based environment, relational databases and query writing, and with cross platform language required Experience programming and debugging, and operating systems is preferred Licensing & Certification

Valid Texas Driver License Special Skills

General office.
