We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team in the fintech sector. In this role, you will leverage data to generate insights that drive decision-making, enhance financial products, and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with stakeholders across business, product, and engineering teams to identify opportunities, build scalable analytics solutions, and provide real-time insights in a highly regulated and fast-evolving environment. Responsibilities Collaborate with business, product, compliance, and technology teams to define analytical needs and deliver actionable insights that align with strategic objectives. Design and build robust dashboards and data models to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), customer behavior, risk metrics, and financial performance. Extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets from various internal systems (e.g., transaction data, customer platforms) and external fintech sources. Deliver accurate and timely reporting to support regulatory compliance, fraud detection, credit risk, and customer segmentation initiatives. Support product development through data-driven feature evaluation, A/B testing, and user behavior analysis. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide implementation of analytics frameworks. Evaluate and improve data governance, quality, and integrity in collaboration with data engineering teams. Serve as a subject matter expert for BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL Server Analysis Services) and mentor junior analysts on best practices and methodologies. Drive data democratization by enabling self-service analytics and providing training and documentation to business users. Clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related roleideally within the fintech, financial services, or banking industries. Proven expertise in SQL, DAX, relational databases, and Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Data Factory, Fabric Data Warehouse, Power Query). Experience working with transactional data, digital wallets, lending platforms, or payment systems is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning fundamentals, and statistical analysis techniques. Deep understanding of financial metrics, regulatory reporting standards (e.g., KYC, AML), and risk modeling concepts. Exceptional critical thinking, data visualization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
