Customer Service Specialist

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be the friendly face of our store, engaging with both retail and wholesale customers to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions with Sherwin-Williams products. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service while achieving the store's sales targets. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through outstanding sales service. Assisting customers in person and over the phone, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable products and services. Building strong, trust-based relationships with customers. Processing sales transactions accurately in compliance with company policies. Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining organized work order files and product formulas. Retrieving products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Preparing and mixing products according to customer specifications. Stocking shelves and creating attractive displays. Cleaning store equipment and maintaining an orderly store environment. Assisting with delivery tasks as required. Keeping knowledge of products updated to assist customers effectively. Following inventory control procedures and providing insights for sales improvement. This position may involve interactions with customers of all ages and access to sensitive items like cash and inventory. Background checks will be conducted to ensure safety within our workplace. Required qualifications include: At least 18 years of age. Legal authorization to work without sponsorship. Fluency in English and Spanish. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally. Availability to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferable attributes include: A High School diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service. Experience with paint products and tinting/mixing equipment.
