The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts. Working as part of a high-performing technical team, this role focuses on CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and compliance with industry security standards. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in AWS, infrastructure as code, and DevOps best practices to support modern application deployment and operations. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins Implement and manage infrastructure across AWS accounts using Terraform and Terragrunt Deploy and support containerized applications using ECS and EKS Ensure infrastructure meets compliance standards such as SOC-2, PCI, SOX, NIST 800-171, and ISO 27001 Manage source control and change tracking using Git-based platforms Develop and maintain detailed architectural diagrams and technical documentation Troubleshoot and resolve issues across build, deployment, and infrastructure components Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior operations staff Monitor infrastructure and automate responses using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
Qualifications
5+ years of DevOps experience with increasing responsibility Advanced expertise in AWS services and multi-account architecture Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux) Experience with container orchestration in production (ECS, EKS) Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt Advanced scripting in Bash and/or Python Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines Skilled in creating infrastructure diagrams using tools like Lucidchart or draw.io Familiarity with observability tools and event monitoring platforms in AWS environments
