Principal Linux System Administrator

Raytheon . What You Will Do Support a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a Principal Linux System Administrator. Build, maintain, and secure information technology systems and directly support customer mission-critical capabilities. Collaborate with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems. Provide after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required; assist with hardware installations and lifting up to 35 pounds. Occasional travel may be required for installation support. This position is 100% onsite.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or a masters degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience. Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 cyber security certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND). Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems. Experience using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, and scripting in Bash and Python.
Qualifications We Prefer
Deployment and administration of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments using VMware vCenter. Experience managing network devices. Experience administering Windows-based systems. Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory. Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems efficiently.

82,000 USD - 164,000 USD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
