Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physicians Treat patients according to the physician treatment plan Assist nursing staff with training Restorative Aides Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in patient care, following state practice acts Communicate patient progress and issues with supervisors and healthcare team members Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation conferences as needed Conduct in-service training for staff and document evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and recertifications per regulations Record treatment modifications and instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training for discharge planning Recommend and arrange necessary durable medical equipment to promote patient independence Report equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance Minimum Requirements:
Valid Occupational Therapy License
