Build & Release Engineer - Embedded C/C++/Python/Perl

Headquartered in Virginia, LanceSoft currently operates out of several locations in the US and Canada. We are seeking a self-reliant Build & Release Engineer to support a 30-member Embedded C/C++ Software development team. The candidate should have the following experience: Managing existing Clearcase based infrastructure Minimum 5 years of Clearcase management & administration experience. Supporting embedded C/C++ SW development teams on Linux and Windows environments. Proficient in developing build infrastructure using make files. Experienced with integration and management of tools such as Coverity Static Analysis, Coverity Test Advisor, TeamCity/Jenkins. Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Perl. Basic troubleshooting of build & development tools infrastructure in an embedded C/C++ environment. Migration & Management of GIT/Perforce based infrastructure Experience migrating Clearcase-based build infrastructure to Perforce/GIT. Familiarity with YOCTO build system is a plus. Experience integrating tools like Code Collaborator with Git or Perforce. Ability to learn new SCM and infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Gerrit, or Code Collaborator. Ability to develop and deliver training for the team on build & development infrastructure. Non-Technical Attributes Self-reliant in supporting a 30-member embedded development team. Ability to work in a high-paced SCRUM/Agile environment. Experience working with a global SCM team. Additional Desired Skills (Optional) Configuring software, hardware, and maintaining developer workstations. Configuring and building servers, including VMware. Knowledge of desktop administration (NIS, LDAP, Samba, disk utilization, etc.).
