Responsible for delivering age and specialty-appropriate medical care through assessment, evaluation, diagnosing, recognition and prevention of adverse events, treatment, and follow-up. Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development. Collaborates with colleagues and other disciplines to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and patient-centered care, and to achieve desired patient outcomes. Monitors quality of care through customer service and performance improvement, demonstrating positive patient outcomes. Provides leadership within the LPG practice location and throughout Lee Health. Exhibits excellent communication skills with patients, families, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, medical staff, and employees. Prioritizes quality and safety in patient care and participates in the integrated continuum of care for patients within LH/LPG. Requirements
Educational Requirements
Required:
Graduate from an accredited Medical School and Residency; BC/BE Experience
