Responsible for delivering age- and specialty-appropriate medical care through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, recognition and prevention of adverse events, treatment, and follow-up. Performs responsibilities across four practice areas: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development. Collaborates with colleagues and other professionals to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and patient-centered care, aiming for positive patient outcomes. Monitors quality of care through customer service and performance improvement initiatives. Provides leadership within the LPG practice location and throughout Lee Health. Demonstrates excellent communication skills with patients, families, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, medical staff, and employees. Maintains focus on quality and safety in patient care. Participates in the integrated continuum of care for patients within LH/LPG. Requirements
Educational Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Medical School and Residency; BC/BE Experience
Required: Experience providing healthcare in international/resource-poor settings; demonstrated teaching and leadership experience with potential for leadership growth State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Medical Doctor Additional Requirements
Currently licensed or eligible in Florida as a Physician Certifications/Registration Requirements
