We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 52-day locum tenens assignment in Arizona, starting Sep 29, 2025. This role offers a flexible schedule with options for 4x10 or 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. The Psychologist will maintain clinical responsibility for mental health programs within a correctional facility, leading mental health initiatives and providing direct patient care. Assignment begins following clearance from the Arizona Department of Corrections. Job Details Location: Arizona Start Date: Sep 29, 2025 LOA: 52 days Provider Type Needed: Psychologist Schedule: 6:30am4:30pm; option to work either 4x10s (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri) or 5x8s Responsibilities and Duties Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits Conduct rounds in all units Formulate working diagnoses and develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans to promote positive patient outcomes Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care Additional Information Must have an active Arizona license Experience in corrections is preferred, but not required Start date is contingent upon clearance from the Arizona Department of Corrections Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
